This is a tracking issue for sourcing the list of conferences we, as CHAOSS Asia, want to host BoFs/Unconferences/submit sessions to in 2025.

Furthermore, this effort will explore collaborative partnerships with some of these conferences. Such alliances can significantly enhance our reach and impact by co-promoting and co-amplifying our initiatives among diverse communities.

Given our nascency and geography, I've compiled the two broad areas we should focus on.

  • Local community awareness and engagement
    • For example, talks or workshops at local meet-ups, in-region conferences at universities etc.
  • Bridging Asia into the global OSS ecosystem
    • For example, LF conferences such as OSS NA/EU or LF Members summits etc.

There are monthly local meetups organizaed by Google Developer Groups (Noida and Delhi) organized in my locality.
