What do you think of the general idea of exposing access to things like these in a local repo:

  • Untracked files
  • Uncommited diff
  • Working tree diff

Some similar things that would be interesting with respect to remote repos also:

  • Diffs in general (could apply do remote repos also)
  • Info about git history

If any of this is desirable I'd be happy to help collaborate on a plan and/or implementation. Let me know.
