I really love this mod, great work man! for the features, I think it'll be great if you implement an an option for "continuous" .cman profiles. Essentially, the ending position and angle of the camera is the starting position for the next profile, and this option should "link" the profiles together delay-wise so that the next profile begins the moment the previous one ends.
As for the longer bezier curves, this would be like the above feature but better; when selecting the bezier curve mode, you could also select the amount of segments (defaults to 1). The ending point of one segment would be the starting point of the next. the point selection sequence could go like this:
- select number of segments
- use the cursor to mark the first segments start and end points
- use the cursor to adjust the curvature of the segment (using the midpoint)
- now we can mark the end of the next segment, then the curvature, then the next ending point, then the next curvature...
- all until the last segments curvature point.
i think that camera angle and pitch at an end point should line up with the next segments starting angle and pitch, so that the camera moves and rotates smoothly. this feature will allow for very complex camera paths and since each segment will have its own rotation, the camera could rotate in a complex manner. This feature might not be very beginner friendly but it could cover an entire map showcase or an entire demo playthrough with just one smooth linked path, which i think will be very nice :).
other than that i am very impressed with this mod (and the quality of the vids on your yt channel). one last addition i would like to suggest is to add a section to the manual on how to use this with demos, which i think would be pretty cool.
