Hi,

I understand that this tool is not necessarily designed for 16S amplicon data, but I was hoping you might have some suggestions on tuning the deacon index build and deacon filter to help remove host amplicons from my dataset.

I'm looking to leverage this tool's speed as an alternative to alignment-based methods in my pipeline.
