It would be nice, if the library could support continuous variables besides the already existing discrete states.

It's probably a big undertaking, but I'll leave it here for consideration!

I think creating Gaussian networks would not require too much work. The potentials used for message passing would need to be modified. Also, introduction of evidence would likely need to be updated. Let me do a little bit of digging.
