havent looked into this yet but just leaving an issue to come back to -

connecting to a remote machine in vscode over ssh, open a folder, try to setup this script.

something with liveserver trying to open a remote path locally maybe? need to tshoot.

yea when setting up the project vscode asks "external app wants to open /your/path" and when you say yes it complains the path does not exist.
