Hello, I am new to EMANE and wanted to ask for some help on using EMANE locally.

I know that this software is meant to be installed system wide, but in my case I have to get it working without doing this. I have been able to run the emane command with a platform.xml file(although I am getting errors because I did not write it correctly, but I have a good idea on how to do so). I also noticed that there are other executables that I can run, like emaneeventservice. From what I can tell you would usually need to use the emanesh shell command to manage all of these. What I want to know is if this can be done without that emulator and what steps would be needed to do so. I am currently running the source build version 1.5.1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
