The BAP_SEND command has a few issues:

  1. It assumes unicast given that it uses an ASE ID and an address
  2. It has a maximum length of 255 which is too small for some of the BAP configurations when there are multiple channels in a single stream
  3. It is used in a way so that we are only sending a few times (and it's unclear whether each of these are SDUs or part of SDUs).

It is a lot easier for the IUT to determine how and what to send, and without the latency of autopts. See also the following Discord discussion: https://discord.com/channels/720317445772017664/1314275603091820544
