Haven't had tine to look at it in detail, but Isn't this to distinguish key from value in configuration files i.e. [Paths]
Addins=./tools/Addinswhere it consumes the key, expects an equals sign and then consumes the value. |

You are correct. I thought that by returning ConfigurationTokenKind.Value it would actually be the value, not the key |

Currently don't think there's ay escape support for keys / values, values to support expanding environment variables so you could do i.e. [ConnectioStrings]
MyConnectionString=%MYCONNECTIONSTRING%or fetch individual parts and build where you use it i.e. [ConnectioStrings]
Server=ServerName
Database=DatabaseName
Trusted_Connection=TrueYou could encode the value ( [ConnectioStrings]
MyConnectionString=Server%3DServerName%3BDatabase%3DDatabaseName%3BTrusted_Connection%3DTrue%3Band then in code Or send a PR to support escaping but that would only work future version, be a core change that needs serious testing. |
