Can py2pack work without PyPI?

Hi all,

I am trying to get some help from py2pack for packaging krr.

Unfortunately it is not on PyPI, so fetching of course fails. But I cannot get py2pack to do anything using a local tarball.

Do I understand correctly that py2pack does not work if a package is not on PyPI?

I tried using --source-url with the link to the source tarball on GitHub, but it bails out with a KeyError: 'urls'.
