An internal b/333991947 bug report says when setting Android's system language as Korean and typing 类 anywhere. (ex. Messages, Chrome) then styling it with NotoSansCJK-Regular.ttc and NotoSerifCJK-Regular.ttc you see a wrong glyph shape.
On GF, it seems there is 类 in JP TC SC and not in the KO specific build of noto;
