Hello, does this work in amazon?

I dont know if its the intended behaviour, for example a link thats originally:

But ONLY after i manually copy and pasted the link back into the search bar, is this inended behaviour? what im looking for is for an extension that does this automaticlally,

Eitherway, the link itself can be shortened further to:

amazon.com/dp/B09PZG4R17

or maybe even further, is the extension not able to do any of this or am i doing something wrong?
