So I already own a 3940xm in an alienware M18XR2 managed to push that too 4.4ghz daily and upto 4.8ghz boot up stable.
Now on that unlocked bios there is a clear a standard multiplayer to change the core frequencies, even options for overclocking the integrated GPU.
I recently flashed my w530 which I picked up for a great deal with the same chip, but upon flashing there is no multiplier option in the BIOS and there is no clear documentation or anything about this aside from staying "overclocking is possible", throttle stop won't go past 39 on the multiplyer and I can't even get older editions of Intel XTU to work let alone the newer versions within Windows 10.
I'm just wondering if I'm a total idiot and missing something here or anyone on the chain for the repo can point me in the correct direction.
