Describe the bug
When selecting a file, whether it be a rom or a mod to install, the file selection pane appears. However, once I either select a file, or press cancel, the window reappears a few seconds later. This happens in an infinite loop which can only be fixed by force quitting the app and reopening it. (Command+Q doesn't even work).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to select rom
  2. Select rom in finder pane
  3. confirm selection, finder pane closes
  4. finder pane reopens as if I had just clicked the select rom button
  5. repeat

Expected behavior
The finder pane to close

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS Sequoia
  • Version: 15.4.1
  • CPU: M2

I'm not able to reproduce this on my M1 MBA (16 GB RAM: 8 GPU Cores: macOS 15.4.1).

Where you are storing the files? Are they on an external drive?

Perhaps also you use using a special directory like Documents or Applications that has special permissions.

Let me know more details, and I'll try again to reproduce. Thanks!

Just figured out that the loop only occurs when I use a controller to open the finder pane. If I use my mouse to click the Install Mods option the loop does not occur.

Therefore, it must be a controller input issue

I can now confirm this issue with a controller. Also, even disconnecting the controller once it happens doesn't fix the loop, so it's not the controller like sending extra signals. It's something to do with how the app processed the original controller input it seems. Thanks! :)
