Basic Information

I realize there is a lot of open work on the upgrader now, just logging this so folks are aware.

If you run the upgrader from 2.1 to 3.0 today, it will properly do the mb4 udpates.

It will NOT properly do the other DB updates. It's a mixed bag:

  • spoofdetector_name ends up on messages, not on members??? I have no idea how this happens...
  • calendar updates don't happen
  • various version columns aren't added

The bottom line is that the DB from an upgrade doesn't match the DB from an install.
