I used to use a chrome extension that chrome deleted called "youtube music hotkeys" it allowed you to config/ bind command keys like alt and another key to dislike or like songs which are broken and no longer working. For example I personally use alt+e to skip a song alt+r to skip back a song alt+x to dislike a song and alt+z to like a song while the window of youtube music isn't active. Is this a feature that sounds good to you or even still possible with chromes limitations?

Hi and thanks for the issue.
I'm a big fan of adding more hotkeys, however it's not possible to capture keys if the browser tab is not active. Any workaround would involve creating a desktop app that sends all keys to the userscript, so it's theoretically possible but horribly impractical.
That said, I'm probably still gonna add more configurable hotkeys at some point, they just won't work system-wide.

I added hotkeys to like and dislike the current song or video, on both YTM and YT.
If you want, you can install a preview version on this page.
Please let me know if you have any feedback. I will close this issue as soon as the next version is out.
