Description
With fresh NLnet funding available for Gnucap we offer internships on related tasks in Qucs with the focus on standardisation and interoperability. Here are two suggestions for possible summer projects.

As a follow up to File format upgrade, CFH #1094, we need to upgrade the library file format to streamline the use of Qucs user data in related tools following standards. See qucs-devel for details.

We need to address the implementation of fundamental semantics and features on GUI level. The GUI needs support for circuit parameters, node and port names and attributes. The dialog for editing components needs a revisit.
Additional ideas are welcome. We will prefer candidates already involved with the project some way or another.
