The icon of that button is probably a theme issue. Mine show properly as checked or un-checked boxes. |

in volume.widget, the tooltips of all sinks are
set as default sink. This can easily confuse the user as to which is the default sink and which is not. The corresponding icons can also be easily misinterpreted.So I would suggest that the tooltips there for the default device shows it as the
default sinkinstead ofset as default sinkR-2025-05-01T05-00-46.mp4
