I've started attempting to improve error messages (on the modules branch), however some error messages are still really quite confusing. Some possible improved messages include:

  • Explaining that only a dimensionless quantity, or a power dimension, can be used in the base of an exponent, not a normal dimension.
  • Having error messages work out what arguments are an issue with function applications and reporting this
