I have just revisited this device, setting it up in my living room. I remember having issues with connection using this repo, but for whatever reason, it connected first try and I have it set up in home assistant now...controls are sluggish, not sure why, but it seems to work. Would be great if we can get a better working solution/fork. |

seemingly the original etrv2mqtt repository by keton is no longer maintained and archived now.
He didn't process any pull requests for a long time.
Would it be possible that you fork the repo and use the fork as a basis for Eco2-Tools?
I've got a number of stability-improvements and bugfixes in my repo (see here, I explained every change in the commit comment) that could be of help for the users of this addon.
Besides the bluetooth-blocking everything should be pretty much compatible with hassos.
