Hi Jasmine,
Could you please elaborate on your README file. I need a more instructions on how to run the server and play the game. Especially for people that are not familiar with nodejs. I would love to get this thing running.

Hi b3dk7, I think it should be sufficient to install nodejs and run the indicated script. Does that not work?

Hi I got it to work now. but i had to install uglifyjs and then also needed to to run 'npm install requirejs'. Not sure if you one needs to run this on a webserver (i did). but if you do, I would maybe mention to launch index.html from a webserver. just a thought. thanks for contributing.

Great! It's been so long since I've done it that I don't really remember the exact steps.

If you have time, it would be amazing if you could update the README with the steps you took. 😄

Sure will do soon. Are you able to start the game after clicking >Drive< . On my side nothing happens. also the login site is down. does one need to log in in order to play the game?

Since you're talking about the >Drive< button, in combination with a sever side, I presume you're talking about the unified branch.
You do not need to be logged in to race, but you need to have the "demo" track/car/environment in the database, which isn't in the branch, and neither is any of the other content pieces for that matter.

Some of it you might be able to gather from the gh-pages branch, otherwise you need someone with a web scrape (maybe archive.org might have some of the files?)
