I have bought the universal remote, just to find out thats it dont works with homey, unless I buy a homepod or set up apple homekit in some way, and I dont want to do that.
Could you please make the Switchbot hub1/2 work with matter with homey, so it will be possible to add the remote directly into Homey.
Or if possible just to be able to add the remote directly.

Regards
Allan

Unfortunately, I have no influence with SwitchBot to make the old hubs work with Matter, and I would guess they lack the required hardware to do that. However, I believe the hub 2 is Matter compatible.

I have got a Universal Remote but was also disappointed that the API doesn't provide anything useful, so it's not possible to integrate it. If that changes, I will be on it straight away as ATM mine sits in a drawer doing nothing.

She is just finishing her first cycle of chemotherapy, so she is struggling a bit ATM. There are three more cycles to go, and she should be cancer free.
