Environment:

  • Ubuntu 22.04
  • Python 3.11.5
  • Ansible 8.0.0
  • osc.open_ondemand 3.1.4

The role does not restart the ondemand-dex service during installation or after configuration changes (when running with the configure) tag.

Please could the role be extended to enable and start the service during installation and restart it during configuration.

Yea seems like it should! Looking at the handlers, there is none for ondemand-dex, so there likely should be.

Hey. I just hit the same situation (errors after the reconfiguration of ood_portal.yml resulting from ondemand-dex not being restartet), so I created a pull requests at #270 to add the handler and service start/ enable after the installation.
Are there other cases when the ondemand-dex service should be restarted other than the ood_portal.yml changes?
