Hi all,

I have downloaded the zip and checked every folder and file. The .exe simply does not exist. I thought maybe somehow firewall or antivirus was an issue so deactivatd both and re unzipped. Still, not there.

I don't get it.

And btw, I grabbed the last version and it's in there:

Howveever, after I choose "run anyway" nothing happens and the app doesn't open.

I am facing this same issue. The .exe file is not in the repo.

You are downloading the raw sourcecode (red arrow) which doesn't contain an .exe, and you need to instead download the pre-compiled version (see green arrows). Hope that helps.

I found the exe, now I'm getting a "You must install or update .NET to run this application" error message when I'm trying to run it. Though I do have .NET Framework 4.8.1 installed on my Windows 11.

If you read the installation guide on the ColorControl main page it clearly states that

Just extract the .zip file in a folder of your preference. Run ColorControl.exe to start the application. Requires .NET 8 with the following runtimes:

.NET Desktop Runtime 8
.NET ASP.NET Core Runtime 8

Although running the .exe should detect that you don't have the right version of these runtimes and direct you to the proper microsoft websites and ask you to download and install them. I assume this does not happen for you, and you may need to manually look up and install these runtimes.
