Troy Leinster

Troy Leinster is an Australian typeface designer and founder of Leinster Type. He holds a Master’s Degree in Typeface Design from the Type & Media program at KABK in The Hague and a Postgraduate Certificate in Typeface Design from Cooper Union in New York.
Troy was a full-time typeface designer at the Hoefler&Co Type Foundry for seven years before the launch of Leinster Type, with retail typefaces including Brisbane, Sedgwick, and Aligne.
Troy teaches at Cooper Union and provides type design coaching through Typemasters.xyz, supporting designers through the process of developing a typeface from concept to release.
