Shoko Mugikura

Shoko Mugikura studied Visual Commu­nic­a­tion Design in her native country Japan at Musashino Art University in Tokyo, then gained an MA in Book Design from the University of Reading (UK). Before joining Just Another Foundry in 2011, Shoko worked at Boag Associates where she worked on information design projects, and at Polimekanos, where she was respon­sible for the editorial design projects. She has given talks at the ATypI, TYPO Berlin, TypeTalks Tokyo, and writes regularly for “Typography”, the Japanese design journal.
