Alice Savoie

Alice Savoie is an independent type designer living in Lyon, France. She holds an MA and a PhD from the University of Reading (UK). She has worked for Monotype and has collaborated with international clients and foundries on the design of many custom and library typefaces (Process Type Foundry, Darden Studio, Frere-Jones Type, 205.tf, Google etc.). Her own typefaces include Capucine, Faune, Romain 20 and Lucette. She teaches type design and supervises research projects at ANRT (Nancy, FR) and ÉCAL (Lausanne, CH). She also co-edits the Pamphlet collection at Poem editions (Frankfurt, DE).
