A cup designed for use by
toddlers and small
children, for use after the child is too old for
bottles, and before they can handle real
cups and
glasses. These usually have one or two
handles on the sides, and a
screw-on or
snap-on top to keep the
liquid in. Special
valves or
filters keep the liquid from spilling out of the drinking
spout.
The grown up version of this is the travel mug.
