PC load letter? The fuck does that mean?
PC stands for "Paper Cassette." It's the part of the
printer that holds paper. Letter is the name of America's standard paper size (8.5x11 inches). "Load" here is roughly synonymous with "refill."
So really, what it's saying, is "out of paper, in the paper cassette, of size 'letter.' Please insert more." But that wouldn't fit on an
LCD.
I am told that more recent versions of HP
laser printers have more
user-friendly messages, such as "out of paper."
