Right click the Repaired Key of the Void to receive this Heroic Adventure in your task window. This is the writeup for the level 120+ version. Your steps maybe different depending on your level.

The Repaired Key of the Void has alerted you to danger in the tower. The Mata Muram Effigy has broken into the tower. Stop the incursion and repel the minions.




  • 1. Approach the Mata Muram Effigy 0/1 Tides of Time

    You have added 1 alternate currency and to your completion reward.
    Your task 'Oasis of the Void' has been updated.
    As you enter the room you notice that the Void is spilling in from the east. Approach the invaders with caution.
    Defend yourself from the attacking subjugated golems. Repel their advances.


  • 2. Defeat the attacking golems 0/2 Tides of Time

    There are a set of these on each side of the room. Kill them. They are mezzable and slowable. They have 25 million HP and don't really hit all that hard against my mage earth pet.

  • 3. Defeat the attacking golems 0/2 Tides of Time

  • 4. Defeat the Mata Muram Effigy 0/1 Tides of TIme

    Go through the dialogue with the effigy to begin the fight.

    2 a lightning diode mobs spawn during the fight, they are mezzable and slowable and have around 25 million hp. They do no die upon the death of the effigy.

    Mata Muram Effigy has 25 million HP and doesn't hit very hard either. It casts Crushing Presence and Mata Muram's Gaze.

    setup: Mata Muram Effigy is very weak but he spawns A LOT of adds while loosing hp. I think is was 1 per 10% but might be more. The adds have the "real" hp to beat and deal out solid dps. At 125 Mata Muram Effigy + two adds deal more damage on a merc tank than a merc healer can fix.
    strategy: Kill the adds as they pop. Do very low damage on Mata Muram Effigy. At 125 a single druid dot was enough to remove 10% to pop another add.

    Doing a speed kill (at a % you think you can survive till he is dead) to win the task does work BUT the adds do NOT despawn after his death, so you might have a problem then.

    MME cast mark of death on me, it had a duration of 18 seconds and no curable counters. i spammed cures anyways and watched it tick down to 0. it did nothing that i noticed in the heat of battle. only cast it once on 1 target
    Lightning Diodes

    There are or at least can be, more than two lightning diodes during the final fight.
    I suspect they spawn on a health % but I didnt have time to figure out exactly what %s. And btw OMM might have the same HP as the diodes but in that case he does not have nearly the AC, he dies much more quickly.
    1st attempt I had 4 diodes almost immediately, I suspect because I had sent all DPS in immediately, OMM was about 60% when I wiped.
    Following attempts I had 3 diodes each time, slowing DPS on OMM down, they came as singles. I guess it could just be something buggy about the event/spawns if you dps him too fast.? Not that I have insane dps, definitely not, but he seems pretty squishy even for my group, so his health drops quickly.
    This took me several attempts ( 5 boxing 116 group gear f2p toons ) and every time had minimum 3 of the diode adds, like I said the 1st attempt was 4 of them all at once.

    Diodes despawn if you wipe, OMM does not agro until you trigger him again.
