1. A reverse vending machine backroom; the space (often in a grocery shop) located behind a reverse vending machine, where beverage crates and glass bottles as well as crushed PET bottles and aluminium cans (subject to a container deposit) are stored before transport for reuse and recycling.

     The number of parcels sent during the Black Friday weekend was double that of last year – and far higher than what the online retailers had warned about. This is causing problems for small retailers with parcel collections. At the Ica store in Bunkeflostrand, they have even been forced to move the parcels into the reverse vending machine backroom, next to crates of empty bottles.
