   ‎tuto (“learning”) + ‎ma- -nan → ‎matutunan

   ‎kaya (“capability”) + ‎ma- -nan → ‎makayanan

• Normally, /h/ is inserted before -an when the root word ends with a vowel that is not followed by a glottal stop. In some cases, phoneme change can occur and /h/ becomes /n/.
