Lung Chien

edit

Looks good, made some minor changes. --Titodutta (talk) 03:03, 4 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Rei Momo, I don't think that this person exists; maybe you got his name wrong? I can't find a single reliable reference for him or any of his films. Amazon isn't a reliable source. Deb (talk) 13:29, 14 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Rei Momo - thanks, but you can't create articles without reliable sources. I can't find any record of him or his films. You need to give us sources where you found this information - not IMDb or Amazon - otherwise the articles will all be deleted. Deb (talk) 13:36, 14 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Look at this book index to an encyclopedia of martial arts films. It doesn't mention Chien Lung or Kim Lung at all: [1] Deb (talk) 13:47, 14 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Serenidus of Saulges

edit

On 17 July 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Serenidus of Saulges, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a statue of Serenidus, the brother of Serenicus, is called the "little pissing saint" because a spring issues from below it in the Oratory of Saint Cénéré? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Serenidus of Saulges. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Serenidus of Saulges), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

If youre interested in making an Italian version of an article on Chinese literature

edit

I found en:Raise the Red Lantern (novella), a Chinese novella, was released in Italian as it:Mogli e concubine (the original title was "Wives and Concubines", so unlike the English version, the Italian version uses the original title). If youre interested in making a stub, here's an idea! Also it:Lanterne rosse is the film adaptation of the novella. WhisperToMe (talk) 22:03, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

BTW do you know people who speak German, Dutch, or Russian who would be interested in writing versions of this article? As for people who speak French, I found an article about how the German version of the novel was translated from French and not directly from Chinese. The French article may find use of this information. WhisperToMe (talk) 23:41, 7 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Rei Momo hello :), today is Diwali here, I'll check a little later today or early tomorrow. --Titodutta (talk) 05:48, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

User:Rei Momo, yes, it was good. The "History" song is not actually "History". it is more like "Theme" or "Substance". I am looking for a better section name. If possible, please write some details about the other versions. --Titodutta (talk) 05:33, 25 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
