Ifrit is the alias of Vegard Mello-Haugland, a Wikipedian from Bergen, Norway. Their interests include video games, literature, linguistics, psychology, philosophy, martial arts, comedy, Photoshop and web design, cinema and music. The nickname Ifrit was chosen because of their fascination for the mythological creature Efreet. They also use the nicknames Efreeti and megascorcher.
