editRather the assembly is one of the houses of the legislature. The other being the council. Or in Marathi, the vidhan sabha and vidhan parisha make up the vishan mandal (legislature) Correction needed in line 1
List of members redundant
editThere is already a list of members available at Maharashtra state assembly elections, 2009. Is there a need to show current members? --Salilb (talk) 10:26, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

Crisis is not an election
edit@Vsa111 Crisis is not an election. Why are you adding crisis page in place of election field? Secondly all edits should be reliably sourced. Please add source when you make edits or reverts. See WP:ONUS Venkat TL (talk) 18:25, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Grouping of Parties Alliance wise
editI think parties must be grouped into three : NDA, MVA and Others And Shiv Sena(Rebel) article should be created because all MLAs of Shiv Sena are not supporting NDA Only after swearing in ceremony Het666 (talk) 13:22, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Het666 no need to create new article until floor test. Let this settle first. Venkat TL (talk) 13:37, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
Now do that YS...232 (talk) 13:49, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
No floor test now because new government formed and Governor approved that also. Het666 (talk) 14:14, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Het666 It is mandatory even in normal circumstances. Moreover 11 July SC hearing may also have some effect. These recent updates should be discussed in a new section on Shiv Sena page. If later on after 11 July the split is official, then you can create and link the new article from there. If there is no split then status quo maintained. Venkat TL (talk) 14:18, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
So how can you determine Government formation by Eknath Shinde . And In composition there is grouping so .... Het666 (talk) 14:23, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Het666 You can write Shiv Sena (Ekanth Shinde camp) by typing [[Shiv Sena|Shiv Sena (Ekanth Shinde camp)]] Venkat TL (talk) 14:25, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
My request is about grouping of Parties that are in government. . And in Shiv Sena page figure showing 16 it mean Shiv Sena and Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde Fraction So new fraction need to be in page Het666 (talk) 14:31, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- For now the faction can be in a section on the same page. Is there any problem? Venkat TL (talk) 14:35, 30 June 2022 (UTC)

SHS should be referred as SHS (Shinde Faction) and SHS (Uddhav Faction)
editIn the article, SHS is divided into SHS and SHS (Rebels) but till the Supreme Court decides upon the decision, I think it should be referred with the faction name. Xoocit (talk) 18:44, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

New Page
editShould a new page with the title 'Shivsena (Rebel)' be created after suspension of Sindhe and the rebel MLAs? (Don't count me as a mere IP account. Do have a registered account myself). Please co-operate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.142.81.1 (talk) 18:53, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
Creation of a new page
editI think after the division in Shiv shena, two seperate pages should be created for Uddhav faction and Shinde faction. Ambiguity occurs as two separate political factions have a single page. So, I think a new page should be created for Shinde faction and the existing one renamed as Uddhav faction, especially after the suspension of the former from the party. - @Shaan Sengupta The source mentions front which means alliance. The Left Democratic Front exists in Maharashtra. Besides the first two sources are reliable for this data. 223.191.27.16 (talk) 16:57, 2 September 2023 (UTC)

- @Shaan Sengupta The source of Deccan Herald is reliable. So we can add them together. Besides, People's Democracy is the mouthpiece of CPIM which is reliable soure for information about CPM and its alliance. It is used in Wikipedia in List of Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidates in the 2014 Indian general election and other articles also. 103.75.163.130 (talk) 12:21, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
