ISO 3166-2:IN is part of the ISO 3166 standardization codes published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for India. It is part of the ISO 3166-2, which defines codes for the names of the principal subdivisions (provinces or states) of all countries coded in ISO 3166-1. ISO 3166-2 codes are defined for 28 states and 8 union territories of India.
