ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:40, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Hi JeyReydar97, when you translate articles from another wiki you have to add attribution. (Wikipedia:Translation#License requirements) Please do so on all articles you've translated. Thanks Nobody (talk) 10:05, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for reaching me out on this. I noticed that you have used this ("auto-translated from German by Module:CS1 translator") template to indicate translation in the Atrium Tower article. Should I incorporate this exact template into the first reference of any German-translated article that I've previously created? JeyReydar97 (talk) 11:54, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- That template was added by the bot who substituted the german templates you had added. You should use {{Translated page}} on all article talkpages when you create a translated article page and also mention it in the edit summary by using something like
Content in this edit is translated from the existing German Wikipedia article at [[:de:Exact name of German article]]; see its history for attribution
. Nobody (talk) 12:15, 20 November 2024 (UTC)- Oh, I see. I forgot to add the
template in this case. JeyReydar97 (talk) 12:45, 20 November 2024 (UTC)This page contains a translation of Atrium Tower from de.wikipedia.

Autopatrolled granted
[edit]Hi JeyReydar97, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Joe (talk) 08:28, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. Thank you for trusting me with this feature, I appreciate it very much! I will keep up the high standards for the future articles I am going to translate/create. As for volunteering to become a new page patroller, I will think about giving it a try. However, my reach of new articles will kinda be limited to a couple of WikiProjects. I am mainly working on WP Professional wrestling and WP Architecture's section of WP Skyscrapers. If it's enough for covering a significant number new pages, I am more than open to volunteer for it. Best regards! JeyReydar97 (talk) 13:38, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
I have sent you a note about a page you started

Expansion Translation Effort for Steglitzer Kreisel
[edit]JeyReydar97, thank you for adding the two translated sections from the German counterpart article to the English version of the Steglitzwer Kreisel article that I have not added myself already, as well as adding the transcribed references.
Another thing to be taken into account is any major updates for Steglitzer Kreisel itself since the completion of this effort, which may be posted in the German article for it, but not in the English article for it (for example, restarting of work on that tower's residential conversion could be one such update). There is also one more translated section left to add to the English article: "Miscellaneous", one of two subsections there focuses on its use as a filming location.
