On 17 June 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved to BINI (group). The result of the discussion was not moved.

@Royiswariii recently raised concerns regarding the reliability of LionhearTV. This article currently relies on three cited source from LionhearTV (previously four), which needs to be addressed according to them. I have replaced one source with a reference to a press release by ABS-CBN Newsroom as LionhearTV's article was a complete copypaste from the said press release. See this diff for the revision. Other Bini-related articles also rely to this source.

Nevertheless, I'm opening this topic to gather feedback from interested editors whether to raise this concern to WP:RSN to further discuss its reliability as a source since 688 Philippine articles (based on a Wikipedia search query that returned 688 article entries) are also relying to LionhearTV. I've been a bit wary of the site since as far as I can remember, its connection to ABS-CBN is not that clearly defined, as compared to PEP and its relationship with GMA network (which explains why I am more comfortable with using it here and some related articles). According to their own about page, LionhearTV was established in 2008 as an independent entertainment blog, though I don't know if they're a "news blog" (which may pass WP:RS and WP:NEWSBLOG) or a "personal blog" (which fails WP:UGC). This is why I'm planning to raise this to WP:RSN to generate consensus regarding its reliability, or at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines/Sources, if its more appropriate there since the source is a Philippine website. Hi AstrooKai! I gathered some research on the AfD regarding LionhearTV being considered an unreliable source. They aren't accepting it as reliable. I came across a draft article (Draft:My Mother, My Story) where a review by SafariScribe (mentioned that they reviewed my article too on Maloi and wasn't approved, possibly due to sources like LionhearTV). This is a statement from one editor, we need to generate a consensus from other editors on whether the source is, as SafarScribe mentioned, an unreliable source. Because I'm currently stuck between whether LionhearTV is a news blog or a personal blog, since news blogs are sometimes considered a reliable source, depending on how the article was written (see WP:NEWSBLOG). I will have this raised to WP:RSN to have a centralized discussion for it, since there are hundreds of Philippine articles using LionhearTV as a reference at some point. Hello! I have thoughts here or a suggestion too, I was planning a WikiProject that dedicated only for Bini last month but the proposal for WikiProject are on hold (WP:WPPRO), but they stated that If your group can't wait for the new process, please only create group pages in the userspace of one of your members.. I didn't propose a Wikiproject because they're changing the process of the proposing of WikiProject, I bet that it will take longer to return of proposing a Wikiproject. But I'm planning to create a Wikiproject using my userspace since it's not allowed to propose a wikiproject. In their statment In 2024, we are changing the proposal process. As far as I know, there is no difference on WP mainspace and userspace, they just recommended to create a WikiProject if you are impatient to create (like me), maybe a limited to do in userspace i guess? Oh okay. Though, I'm not quite sure if Bini needs a WikiProject right now. I mean, SB19, another P-pop group, has relatively the same stardom as Bini right now, but they don't seem to have a dedicated WikiProject or group of editors here. As far as I know, only a few of us editors regularly maintain Bini-related articles (me, you, and @Borgenland). @Orojackson56 was active before, but they stopped contributing in August. @Indo360 on the other hand, is active in improving other Philippine entertainment articles.

Though that is my opinion, I don't know about the others. It's up to them whether they agree with forming a Bini WikiProject since I'm okay with whatever the outcome of this. I pinged them for their feedback about this proposal. AstrooKai (Talk) 08:29, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t think the time is ripe for an independent WikiProject. I think the best solution for now is helping the Music Task Force in Tambayan, but I do wish a Bloom badge is available for display in user pages. Borgenland (talk) 08:36, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The music task force is active, but we need additional participants who are active and able to address those items in the to-do list. In addition, Bini is already under this task force, so I think having a separate WikiProject for the group alone is too much.

It's possible to use a logo is in the public domain but also trademarked in a userbox on Wikipedia provided certain conditions are met

Since the logo is in the public domain, there are no copyright restrictions on its use. However, trademark law still applies.

Since we're on Wikipedia and it's a Nonprofit organization, userboxes on logo are allowed on Wikipedia policies to use public domain logos even it's have a trademark, but it's essential to ensure that the use

• Does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by the trademark holder.
• Clearly identifies the logo's public domain and trademarked status using proper tags (e.g, {{PD-textlogo}} and {{Trademark}})
