Description
Deutsch: Wappen von de:Kirchsahr. Bis um 1800 hatte Kurköln die Landesherrschaft in Kirchsahr. Die Unterherrschaft stand dem Stift Münstereifel zu.Seit etwa 1250 gehörte Kirchsahr zum Kollegiatstift Münstereifel. Zugleich für Kurköln (schwarze Farbe) und auf das Kollegiatstift hinweisend, steht das schwarze Vortragekreuz mit Doppelbalken. Der Ortsname geht zurück auf den am Ort vorbeifließenden Sahrbach. Ihn symbolisiert der blaue Wellenbalken. Die Bischofsstabkrümme steht als Hinweis auf den Ortspatron von Kirchsahr, St. Martin.
