Falih Akram Fahmi (1940 – 25 January 1989) was an Iraqi General and sprinter.[1] He competed in the men's 200 metres and men's 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He fought in the Iran–Iraq War and worked for Saddam Hussein, the former president of Iraq. He was tortured in the Abu Ghraib prison and later executed for insulting Saddam Hussein, his boss.[2][3][4]
