So I was looking at some pics from Aromatic Hyena and I noticed that certain posts were tagged with pseudo-penis without one actually being visible.

In cases like this, would it be appropriate to remove the pseudo-penis tag? How are we supposed to tell the difference between a retracted pseudo-penis and a regular vagina?

The pseudo-penis tag is kind of dubious to begin with. Imo it's a better fit for a lore tag, but if it's going to stay in general, I personally disagree with using it on instances that are not identifiably the genitalia of an animal that has a pseudo-penis. So it shouldn't be applied on characters with human vulvas and human penises. So no, I don't think it applies to this image.

what do you mean? that looks like a retracted pseudo-penis to me, not any form of human genitalia.

Are we looking at the same image because a retracted pseudo-penis does not have labia majora that open in a slit like that. The shape in the picture is humanoid. It lacks visible labia minora, but how prominent they are in real life and in art varies widely.
