Mike Pidd updates this new edition to focus more attention on system dynamics as a result of increasing interest in this area. Other revisions include an increase in the number of exercises at the end of each chapter, an expansion of the area of the book covering visual interactive modeling systems, strengthening of statistical aspects of the text, and a general overhaul of the original material to bring the references and general tone up to date.
