John Eric Deanfield CBE (born 28 April 1952) is a British professor of cardiology and past Olympic fencer. Deanfield FRCP FESC is a British professor of cardiology at University College London. He is Director of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Outcomes Research (NICOR) in the UK and a Senior Advisor to Public Health England (PHE) on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention.
