Die Erfindung betrifft eine Drossel (1) mit zumindest einer Wicklung (2) mit jeweils zwei Anschlüssen (3, 4) und einem mit einem Luftspalt (6) versehenen Magnetkern (5), welcher Magnetkern (5) aus einer Vielzahl übereinander gestapelter Bleche (7) aufgebaut ist, und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer solchen Drossel (1). Erfindungsgemäß ist ein Spulenkörper (8) zur Aufnahme der zumindest einen Wicklung (2) vorgesehen, welcher Spulenkörper (8) aus zumindest zwei Teilen (9, 10) besteht, welche werkzeuglos miteinander verbindbar sind, und weiters eine Grundplatte (11) zur Aufnahme der Bleche (7) des Magnetkerns (5) vorgesehen, welche Grundplatte (11) mit dem Spulenkörper (8) werkzeuglos verbindbar ist.
