Zur einfachen und schnellen Umrüstung eines Schienenfahrzeuges 500 von einer Park- in eine Betriebsposition und umgekehrt wird eine Kupplungsanordnung 100 zum Koppeln des Schienenfahrzeuges mit einem zweiten Schienenfahrzeug 500' geschaffen, wobei die Kupplungsanordnung an einer stirnseitig an dem Schienenfahrzeug angeordneten Tragkonstruktion 200 befestigt ist und eine Kupplungsstange 110 mit einem Kupplungskopf 120 zum mechanischen Verbinden der Schienenfahrzeuge aufweist, wobei die Kupplungsstange 110 ferner eine Schlittenführungsvorrichtung 150, umfassend eine gekrümmte Führung und Halterung 156 für einen von der Kupplungsstange 110 umfassten Schlitten 130, aufweist, über die die Kupplungsstange 110 an der Tragkonstruktion 200 befestigt ist und wobei die Kupplungsstange 110 entlang einer gekrümmten Trajektorie an der Schlittenführungsvorrichtung 150 verfahrbar ist.
