Abstract (en)
The method comprises inserting a component (1) with an angle of 40-60[deg] to the bottom into a holder (2), and heating the component to 25-100[deg] C at 30% of an upper edge adjoining surface of the component to 30-120 seconds and coating the upper edge of the component with varnish (3) to 30-120 seconds, where the varnish is applied on 30% of the surface adjacent at the upper edge of the component with an air stream. The air stream has a speed of 2-4 m/second and 40-80[deg] C. An independent claim is included for a device for flood coating of a polymeric material.

Verfahren zur Flutbeschichtung eines polymeren Werkstoffes, wobei mindestens a. ein Bauteil (1) mit einem Winkel von 25° bis 90° zum Boden (5) in eine Halterung (2) eingelegt wird, b. das Bauteil (1) von einer oberen Kante (1 a) an mit einem Lack (3) beschichtet wird und der Lack (3) währenddessen und/oder anschließend innerhalb eines Bereiches von 30 % der an die obere Kante (1 a) angrenzenden Oberfläche des Bauteils (1) mit einem Luftstrom (4) beaufschlagt wird.
