[origin: EP2184445A1] The support (1) has axial segments (24) designed as a grid pipe structure (26) and casting parts (30), where the axial segments are welded with each other for forming a fixed structure. The grid pipe structure is provided with a sheet metal covering (28) at inner- and outer sides. The sheet metal covering is provided with cooling air holes. Material of the axial segments and/or the sheet metal covering is adapted to local thermal and mechanical loads during operation. Upper and lower segments are connected with each other by a flange.
