Abstract (en)
The furniture (1) has a backrest (3) including a pivotable head section (4) at an upper end of the backrest. The head section is connected with the backrest over a rotatable mechanism (8), and is reversed from a lying position into a standing position. The rotatable mechanism is covered in the lying and standing positions of the head section by side parts (5), rear part (6), backrest and the head section. The side parts, rear part and backrest exhibit a uniform height with the lying position.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitzmöbel (1) mit Seitenteilen (5), einem Rückenteil (6) und mit einer Rückenlehne (3), die an ihrem oberen Ende ein schwenkbares Kopfteil (4) aufweist. Das mit der Rückenlehne (3) über eine Schwenkmechanik (8) verbunden ist und von einer liegenden Lage in eine stehende Lage und umgekehrt schwenkbar ist. Die Erfindung schlägt vor, bei dem Sitzmöbel (1), bei dem das Kopfteil (4) die Rückenlehne (3) bei aufgerichtetem Kopfteil (4) nach oben verlängert, die Schwenkmechanik (8) derart auszubilden, dass sie in der liegenden und in der stehenden Lage des Kopfteils (4) von den Seitenteilen (5), dem Rückenteil (6), der Rückenlehne (3) und dem Kopfteil (4) verdeckt ist.
