Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1609965A1] The arrangement has an auxiliary unit (2) such as starter, generator, power steering pump, or water pump of a cooling circuit with a drive pinion. The unit is connected to an internal combustion engine against a cascade of an intermediate pinion and a ring gear (6) crimped on one of counterweights (4) of a crankshaft (11). The auxiliary unit and the intermediate pinions are maintained by a drive case (1).
