Abstract (en)
The device has a cooking area(s) with cooking zones, a visual residual heat indicator and a counter for switching the display off after a delay following switch-off of the mains voltage. A detector detects application of mains voltage. Information is placed in memory while a counter state exceeds null. The residual heat indicator remains active after a mains interruption depending on the memory contents if the information in memory exceeds null. The device has at least one cooking area (2) with cooking zones (4) that become hot when switched on, a visual residual heat indicator (6) that advises of hot zones when the device is connected to mains voltage and a counter for switching the display off after a delay following switch-off of the mains voltage. A detector detects application of mains voltage to the cooker. Information is placed in a memory while the counter state exceeds null and the residual heat indicator remains active after a mains voltage interruption depending on the memory contents if the information in memory exceeds a counter value of null. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a method of operating a residual heat indicator for an inventive electrical device.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Elektrisches Gargerät mit wenigstens einem Kochfeld mit in eingeschaltetem Zustand heiß werdenden Kochzonen, mit einer optischen Restwärmeanzeige, die bei an Netzspannung gelegtem Gargerät auf heiße Kochzonen hinweist, und mit einem Zähler, um die Restwärmeanzeige nach dem Abschalten des an Netzspannung gelegten Gargeräts zeitverzögert abzuschalten, wobei das Gargerät einen Netzspannungsdetektor aufweist, der das Anliegen der Netzspannung am Gargerät detektiert. Es ist vorgesehen, dass eine Information in einem Speicher abgelegt ist, solange der Zählerstand größer als Null ist, und dass nach einer Netzspannungsunterbrechung die Restwärmeanzeige in Abhängigkeit vom abgefragten Speicherinhalt für eine gewisse Zeitdauer aktiviert bleibt, wenn die Information im Speicher einen Zählerwert größer Null anzeigt. <IMAGE>
